(ADDITION OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO 25, 26, 27, 28 IN THE PARISH OF CHRISTLETON & PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO 7 IN THE PARISH OF LITTLETON) MODIFICATION ORDER 2025

In order to facilitate the confirmation of this Definitive Map Modification Order, and agreement has been reached between the landowner and the applicant (Christleton Parish Council) to divert Christleton Footpath 25 (as shown as Route A on the attached plan) to an alternative route (as shown as Route B on the attached map) via a Highways Act 1990 s119 Diversion Order once the Definitive Map Modification Order has been confirmed. Please note the applicant and the landowner have agreed to this diversion taking place and we aim to confirm both the Definitive Map Modification Order and the Diversion Order on the same day.

While there will be a statutory twenty-eight-day objection period when the Diversion Order is made, please take this communication as informal notice of Cheshire West and Chester Borough Councils intention to progress on behalf of the applicant and landowner.
