Cllr Inall reported that we have complied with FCC requirement regarding publicity for receipt of
funding. The next stage of publicity is for the commencement of building work and Cllr Foxhall said he was happy to do the social media but would require assistance with press releases etc.
The tenders have gone out and are due back w/c 10/03/25, a contractor will be appointed and
the necessary FCC documentation completed. There will be an anticipated 8-week lead in time
for play area equipment order with work commencing w/c 05/05/25.

Regarding the Wildlife Area of the upgrade: Cllr Lauren Buckley has been in contact with Howard
Pimborough, Woodland Creation Officer for CWaC who has sourced 17 trees. We will need to
maintain the trees ourselves/instruct someone in terms of general weeding, watering, pruning as
required in the first year. However, we will get a maintenance grant from CWaC for the cost of
this. Authority is required for Cllrs Buckley and Tonge to take responsibility on behalf of the
Parish Council on the choice of appropriate trees.
2025/18 Resolved: That the Parish Council delegate responsibility to Cllrs Buckley and Tonge
