Three members of the public reported a very serious traffic incident at the Quarry Lane crossing on the A41 pelican crossing, where a car failed to stop at the red light and narrowly missed hitting a child waiting to cross.
Great concerns were raised following this incident and it was agreed that Cllr Beckitt & Cllr Foxhall would meet with the resident at the crossing to take some photographs to forward to CWAC Highways and to request a meeting with Highways to discuss ways of avoiding incidents such as this happening in the future.  This meeting has since taken place and minuted in January’s meeting.
