A member of the public, a resident of Rake Lane, expressed their concern at the lack of pavement along the stretch of road approaching the junction with Plough Lane. Where there is no pavement there is a broken white line painted on the road which offers no protection against speeding traffic. As there has already been one fatality in this vicinity, the resident is concerned about their safety when exiting onto Rake Lane. Cllr Beckitt confirmed he will visit the resident at their property to investigate further.
