A member of the public reported the parking of a car on the pavement adjacent to the dropped dimpled kerb at the crossing by the Scout Hut on the A41 Whitchurch Road. The car is parked there daily and is causing serious problems for pedestrians particularly those with buggies as its position is blocking safe access for crossing this very busy highway. The resident has reported this to the PCSO, and the Parish Clerk confirmed she has as well. However, the car continues to be parked in this manner. The resident also reported that a truck cab parks most mornings by the chicane on Pepper Street causing visibility problems exiting Faulkner’s Lane. There also appears to be a sink hole appearing in Quarry Lane. Cllr John Beckitt took the resident’s contact details and advised he would investigate these matters on their behalf.
