Traffic and Safety Update March 2025

Flooding – Primary School Car Park. Initially it was agreed that CWaC would carry out a camera survey to determine drainage. However, prior to this, a gas leak occurred and unfortunately the digging by Cadent created a sinkhole. Upon inspection Highways have discovered another sinkhole beneath a concrete block and are currently working to resolve the situation.

Deepwater Puddles – Pearl Lane joining A41 and Ramada Hotel to Hamburger junction: Reported to Highways for urgent investigation.

Kathy McArdle, CWaC Executive Director of Place and Growth to visit on 22/4/25 to have guided tour of village and to discuss issues raised.
